We stayed 2 nights in this hotel... I must say very central zone 1!it was very close to 3 metro stops..close to wallet road and notting hill....quiet neighborhood not very lively at night!our room was dated quite old with some ruined but clean details(always according to English standards)😕the worst note was the stairs(very narrow in carpets and wood) to make x to the 4th floor where the room was located!the small and old breakfast room but with breakfast varies!the managers were extracommunal!!quality-price ratio in the average..

I went there with my parents and stayed for 3 nights in December 2013. I chose this studio mainly because of its location. Tour buses passes by it and its at the main road so there was no need to walk far. Muslim food can be found all around the area so that was a bonus. Do no expect much for the room though. We didn't use the kitchen, used it only to boil water. Cleanliness and comfort is acceptable. I think the management should replace their old heater because the room was not well heated in winter

Nice place for budget travellers

The standard of the flatt we lent, was poor and different from pictures showed in hotels the web side. We told the hotel that it would be late arrival. The reception did not accept arrival later than 11 pm., although airplane was delayed. The service should be better than that. The receptionists could have been more friendly and personable.

Offers spacious accommodation, well priced, close to the tube and bus routes. Because the apartment has a kitchen where one can prepare meals it makes the holiday much more affordable.
Beds  could be of better quality, but the overall package is excellent compared to a budget hotel.

I booked an apartment here for my two daughters since the location seemed good.
Well, what a disaster it was for them and how bad I felt at putting them through this.
The hotel had made an error with the booking since, as it turns out, the person taking the bookings could barely speak English. What should have been a simple problem to solve turned out to be anything but, and the manager began to scream and yell at my daughters through no fault of their own.
Eventually they were allowed to check in and found the apartment dirty with pubic hairs on the floor and in the bed. Hot water lasted five minutes only. Internet reception was poor. Noise from the street outside was such that sleep was next to impossible. The room was generally dirty.
Perhaps the worse part of all was the fact that both girls woke up with bites on their skin, presumably from some insect.
What a horrible place.

Truly awful

I booked a single studio but was assigned a double. The apartment was not a bad size (compared to others I've stayed in in London). It was rather shabby but clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was small but not as cramped as others I've seen. The bathroom was a bit dated but the shower worked OK, it was clean, the towels were replaced daily and there was plenty of hot water.There was no ac and there was quite a bit of noise from the traffic (understandably given the location) and there was no reading light by the bed. There was an iron and ironing board and the receptionist asked me if I needed a hairdryer when I checked in. There was coffee and tea etc. Overall it was very good value for money - you won't get much for £70 in London these days - and I've paid a lot more for places that were not much better - or even worse.

Good value, nothing grand

The ground floor room with questionable safety, very noisy, tired bed, very small bathroom with a lot of difficulty moving around, access to windows impossible for a person of normal size.

We stayed three days in London, we stayed in one of the studios at 5 Palace Court in Bayswater and as soon as we arrived the person at 1 Palace Court was not very friendly but with a little helpful insistence, the wait to recover the studios was a little long. Once the keys were recovered, we were able to take possession of the studios but there we did some decanting, in fact the bed covers with tasks, the smell of refurbishment and the smell of the busards the same. The bathroom is not very well furnished, but if you are comfortable with the contouring tension you will be comfortable.

Vintage apartment and questionable hygiene

1 star gets the room because of the location. Otherwise it was a disaster. The photos from the vendor are probably from the opening at the time?! The bathroom was so extremely small that you could brush your teeth from the toilet and wash your hair in the bathroom on the same side. There was also no hot water regulation, the water from the line was just boiling. During the shower it was extremely practical... The kitchen was worn out. There were no bowls, no towel and the oven only worked sporadically. The blessing package that consisted of cookies, coffee, etc. was in reality a drop of sugar, a cup of coffee and 2 biscuits. One of the towels had to be worn in a small hole and then one of the towels had to be instantly burned for about 2 days.

Find yourself something else.

Apartment is exceptionally well placed... metro entrance is 500m, in front of Hyde Park and buses in the street of the apartment. Everything is very clean...our apartment was facing a perpendicular street and it was quite quiet. The furniture, the dishes, the electricity are still old but to visit London and just eat and sleep there, it is absolutely enough for the very affordable price for London! Nice accommodation, in English.
