Bed sheets had stains, carpets filthy. All the bathrooms had dirty mats and floors. Couldn't find anywhere else with a room available so ended up having to stay but wished I hadn't. Fridge had old food packets left inside it, mugs for tea were not clean.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Staff are so rude stayed this time last year too. The staff then were lovely Irish Lady Marie i think was the name, Breakfast lady lovely woman. Jane the bar lady extremely nice too so helpful but not there anymore. Which is a shame Gone even more downhill since my last stay

This place is the very definition of hell on earth.

I have staid in many places worldwide, a lot of them modest but none as horrible as this.

First of all as I was here on a work conference at ExCeL, I called upfront to make sure the place would be quiet as I had to wake up at 7am the morning after.

Sure enough the staff reassured me there'd be a bit of music from the pub but that I Wouldn't be able to hear it from my room (most expensive suite with private bathroom) and that in any case they'd turn it off by midnight.

Instead here I am lying in my bed unable to sleep at 3AM with junk music playing on massive bass low frequency speakers. The entire structure of the building is vibrating like an earthquake from the bass.

I can feel the bass in my bed and on the floor.
Words don't do justice to the loudness of this, I placed my smartphone on my nightstand and my phone and watch fell on the ground from the vibration.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BLOODY HELLHOLE AT ALL COSTS! Not worth a single p, let alone 70£

Seriously! You'll sleep much better in your car.

Even if you don't have a car, trust me when I say you will sleep better by stuffing your clothes with a free newspaper/magazine and sleeping on a bench outside.

Oh and if this wasn't enough to keep you away from this absolute s*ithole.

Blood on walls,
suspicious stains on sheets, 
hair everywhere in private non shared bathrooom
Heating not working, 10 degrees outside, staff said they'd just turn it on from downstairs but never did
Dirty walls and floor
Drunken fights breaking outside your door
Staff unlocking and entering your room at night then apologizing because they went into the wrong room

Only pro I can think of:
- Didn't get killed 

Seriously, sleep ANYWHERE but here, even outside!

I will be contacting my bank and run a chargeback on my credit card.

.Very small room
.Alot of sockets, dispensers, switches, toilet roll holders needed fixing

Cheap but not so cheerful

What a total frikkin dump.  The room was dirty and there was a resident cockroach too.  The communal toilet was horrid & bathroom was grimey. The breakfast was disapointing. Then  annoyingly the parking was rubbish as it was in residential area & needed a parking permit of which they had none. 
All round gutting experience.

Not if your life depends on it

It's all in the headline... Arriving at 11pm (bad hotel in an old neighbourhood that doesn't inspire confidence), we end up in a bar... well, after all why not... we shouldn't rely on appearances:), well in this case the, yes... Advance payment, price posted on the site: 75 pounds, price paid on the spot: 90 pounds, without any justification... First scam Then we climb stairs with the carpet made with scotch from a construction site, we end up in a hallway, how to say finally... rustique... And take the room!

It's not a hotel, it's a bar that's a hotel.

Even the city guards didn't know that the pub had hotel rooms so it took me two hours to find it!!!!. but the disgusting thing is the dirt that you can't even imagine in pictures the smell of dirt is not photographic. Those who wanted to relive the experience of the complex 1960s who slept almost in communes with toilets and bathrooms to share with others here they find their habitat. The worst of all hotels visited in over 50 years of travel!!

Hello, I spent the weekend in this hotel which is just a rotten pub with a few rooms. Without a bathroom and a built-in toilet. After seeing the pathetic place, we went out, and when I came back I sat down on the bed and there was a huge cockroach coming out of the bed. I killed him and then called the manager who told me that he couldn't do anything for me, he called his housekeeper because I asked her to search the whole room to see if there were any more. He told me that he was surprised and that it was the first time. So it's okay to disturb the room or even ask the housekeeper (at 1:30 in the morning) I got the wife of the housekeeper because I'm asking her to search the whole room to see if there were any more.

Horrible, dirty with big cockroaches!

The camera, underground, was narrow, indeed more, very small beds next to each other, placed at the end of a suffocating cone overlooking an inner courtyard where the exhaust pipes of the other rooms, the noble ones of the upper floors, came together... but why did this happen to us? Our camera then bordered with a closet in which a left character was staying.

What a disappointing hotel!

Hello, we were in this hotel for 2 days a week (if you can call it that) The Central Hotel.I'm telling you our most disastrous resentment, I advise everyone not to go there myself for a night.The negative points are: a little far from Upton Park station, this hotel is inside a pub, the rooms are horrible.We booked a room for 2 and we found ourselves on 3 beds for 6 people with an old refrigerator, a microwave.They didn't even take the time to change our sheets or toilets.The toilets can be used and common (no disinfectant).
