I don't know if you've ever stepped on a dog poop... Well, if you booked in this hotel, tell me that it's better than bathing in a pools of oysters... If you want to ruin a vacation, book it. And yes, until now I've said to book because it's the only thing I can do, since without any prior notice or anything, upon arrival at the hostel we've found it closed and when calling the establishment they tell me they don't plan to open... Among other things, one morning and part of the afternoon lost finding another place where we could stay in the middle of the summer.

A bag of oysters.

It's a shame that having a paid reservation doesn't deserve to warn you that you're keeping it closed, and that we're going to have to find out when we get to the establishment and see it closed, and that we're not going to have any solution.

HOTEL CERRADO SIN AVISAR, TRAS HACER RESERVA Y RECORRER 850 kilometers from the airport.

It's a bit expensive for what it is: a well-appointed hostal, nothing more.  If you expectservices of any kind, spend a few euros more and stay in an actual hotel (although it's getting difficult to tell what's what these days when booking on travel sites). Great bed. I was tired from a day of travel and would have like nothing better than to be able to flip TV channels for a few hours, but the owner had cheaped out on the remotes. I've spent enough time in Spain to know that all channels, even non-satellite ones, have the option to watch programming in the original language, but you must have a remote capable of switching it. No such luck, and I just didn't feel like watching English programs badly dubbed in Spanish. Hint for the owner: when asked about it, "watch your computer" or "go take a walk" are NOT appropriate responses. The building is fairly typical Spanish construction, meaning you can hear virtually everything that happens in the hallway, adjoining rooms, and the floor above.

Just fine, if all you need is a good bed

The owner couldn't have been more friendly. Clean, central and close to El Corte Inglés department store and to bus/train stations. Highly recommended.

Great Hospitality 

We loved our stay at hostal-cafeteria Gran Sol. Very friendly hosts, good location, clean and comfortable room. We had a tasty morning coffee with delicious sponge cake just before we left the hostal. They offer a breakfast if you order it. 
The location of the hostal is close to bus station (1km away), close to supermarket and shopping mall. The nearest best restaurant is 4 min walk away. If we had more time we would stay longer. 

Nice and comfortable hostal 

For the price I expected a little more, they put 3 stars which I think are too many, too much noise in the room, both from the street, even if the windows are closed, as well as from inside the hostel itself, it was difficult to rest, in my opinion... it was also very noisy when the water was opened from another room, it was too loud... the cleanliness was very good and the owners very kind, the location very good if you need proximity to the bus station, five minutes walking.

I was hoping for a little more.

This hostel is highly recommended for weekends.The rooms are well-utilized, we were three and had two beds, one for the bride and one for the girl, they have a full bathroom and is clean.The service is excellent and they are very friendly.

The weekend in A Coruña.

Conveniently located close to the train station and the shopping center cuatro caminos.muy clean and cozy, the duel very friendly and polite, breakfast the two days in the bar that has the hostel at a very good price and natural juice very rich!!!

Very highly recommended.

We stayed here to see Torre of Hércules. The Hostel was comfortable, clean and secure. You pick up your keys at the bar, and are escorted to your room. The room is small, but clean and neat. The Hostel is close to the train station, and very close to the bus station, as well as in the center of town and convenient to cafes and restaurants.

Good Hotel with a great location 

The gentleman who welcomed us was very available, he let us check in in advance and then he brought our luggage to our room when she left while we were taking a tour of the city.
