We took the route of Samara-Moscow. We decided to stop in the famous city of Mur. The name of the hotel immediately caught our attention. It was very unusual to spend the night in an old merchant's house. We got a room on the top floor with a view of the square.

The hotel was excellent in location and atmosphere. The room was luxurious, quite large and well equipped: the teapot, the dishes, the microwave, the tea and coffee, the cooler with water.

Cozy hotel in the heart of the city

The hotel is located in the city center, the windows open to the central square, all the main attractions are within easy reach. The staff is friendly. The rooms are large, clean. Wi-Fi is stable. Breakfast is normal, bonus - coffee machine in the corridor.

Hotel in the city centre

The hotel is in the center, the repair is typical in classical style, but not of high quality (pipe pipe, tile almost falls off in the bathroom) In the room itself there is air conditioning, but it is located on the bed, which allows him to sweat the person who is sleeping. And the windows to open - it is a crack, under the window of the counter and until late at night there are companies sitting there, shouting cars, from the morning the courtiers are mating.

Expectations have not been realized

I was with my husband on Christmas holidays. Plus: Breakfast was delicious and full! In the room there is a refrigerator, cups, glasses. On the floor there is a bottle of water. You can use a teapot and tea anytime, but in the hallway it's all worth it. The room was warm, the TV was working fine. The bedding is clean, with flowers as it is now. The carpet was white, purple. In the bathroom there is a gel for shower, shampoo, soap for pieces, the administrator gives out a set for cleaning teeth and shower caps. Minus: The outside looks terrible! There is no sign on the central street, and the sun was so awful for us.

For the amateur

If you decide to visit the famous city of Murom, it is quite possible that you will be taken to this very retro-hotel. Personally, my family and I were interested in staying in a place like this, as our ancestors did in the 18th and 19th centuries. The hotel itself is not big, from the street you don't even know that it is a hotel, entering the car will be like a fascinating quest.

Interesting experience

The friendly staff, the city centre is very cozy, the cafes, the restaurants, the market, the shopping centre, the museum, the park, the monasteries are all within walking distance.

Hotel The Merchant Court

Stay 9-10 October 2019. The hotel is an old merchant's house. It's only 3 floors. I really liked the fact that it's not a standard hotel. There's no reception like this, you're welcomed on the phone. The hostess kindly showed you all the free rooms, told the story of the house. Very beautiful, cozy, clean. On the floor, next to the room, there's always a cooler with hot and cold water, tea, sugar, coffee machine, all the necessary dishes. There's breakfast consisting of: milkshake, eggs, cheese sandwich, jam pancakes, noodles. Everything is delicious.

It's a nice place.

· We arrived in Murom late at night, it was raining, late June! We got a phone call from the hotel in advance, made sure that we were coming. The hotel itself was very miniature, always only a few rooms, located in the historical foundation in the center of the city. The room was given a higher category and no extra charge was taken. The room was very spacious, in three circles! The furniture was wooden, glass-colored, in classical style. Even the coffee table was in the room.

First of all, there are advantages. 1. Location in the very center of the city near the Water Tower. 2. welcoming staff (when it is in place) 3. There are basically all amenities in the room (our room 21 with two separate beds). 4. There is a coffee maker, microwave, tea-coffee, straw, in general, you can survive. Now minus. 1. Very narrow room. It's really narrow! Standard. 2. There's little towel, only two per person, there's nothing to throw on the floor in the bathroom so you don't walk around the cafeteria. 3. Breakfast is served in the room, but it's very narrow and two at the table. 4.
