We had room 23 “the artistic room” and we had a beautiful view over the castles garden and lovely staff who helped us. We also dined in restaurant L’etoile which had a very apatizing French cuisine, and had a wonderfull time here. Will definitely be staying here again when traveling to Maastricht! 

Amazing experience!

I was here with a friend. The staff was very friendly and make you feel right at home. The room was very original and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The food was not expensive, but perfect.

My travel plans changed due to post-pandemic situations.  The staff was very prompt and courteous regarding my questions, concerns, and changes.

I have not been to the hotel yet in person, but I can certainly recommend the hotel simply based upon its service.

Helpful customer service

Positive: - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Very fast internet. - Very quiet at night. - Very clean lazy: - Electrical charging station blocked by hotel vehicle. - No air conditioning - Night concierge only in English. - Bar closed from 11 p.m. Annoying / negative: - No closet, only 3 double hooks with 5 plastic garments. - In the bathroom only 3 small hooks for hanging the towels, 1 of which is occupied by a bag with the dryer. - Too few storage facilities - Only darkening gardens, no day gardens.

Never ever

Excellent service by enthusiastic first year students. Nice place to stay. Very good breakfast in the lovely garden made it complete. 
Only minor downside: the room (nr. 1) started showing some wear and tear. 
Next time in Maastricht I would certainly book this hotel again!

Excellent service by enthusiastic first year students!

Totally in love with our room and the surroundings of the castle.
The design of our room is original. It's spacious and we have everything we need. The bed is super comfy as well. We did not try the restaurant as the menu was quite limited at the time we stay. But we enjoyed drinks in the terrace, very relaxing view to the pond.
All the staffs were very friendly and always willing to help. It was an excellent long weekend stay. 

Cozy stay in design room

As an alumnus of this school I decided to take my girlfriend and our 4 month old son on a long weekend trip down memory lane. Having gratuated over 15 years ago I had a sentimentel recollection of my experiences at the hotel management school which I had to share with my nee family.
Back than there was no hotel but I had high expectations from trips in the past. Despite the current COVID 19 regulations.

We stayed for 3 nights snd received room number 16 a wonderful deluxe room on the 2nd floor with views over the school, the amphitryon bar as well as the courtyard terrace.  On the spacious attic.
My baby son was catered for with a baby bed and a bathtub at no extra charge. 
It also included a large work desk. The room could be accessed using a private staircase. 

We had everything needed.  Breakfast had to be pre-ordered at around €10 pppn. And collected at a specific timeslot. (Covid 19) and couñd not be consumed at the restaurant. It was a very generous breakfast including: 1 egg, 1 croissant, 2 sandwiches (kaiser style) . All oven warm. Including fresh O juice, fresh coffee, kwark , salmon, french cheese (brie), salmon, tomato,lettuce, cucumber(komkommer),  cheese and ham.

Lunch could be ordered at the castle park scenic  garden view  from 12:00-17:00. The menu  offered several local asparagus dishes  all fresh and tasty.  The wine menu was excellent and not braking the bank.

Diner options were not offered due to covid but the city of maastricht as well  the hotel offered us severa options for delivery. Or pick up.

The hotel offers secure free parking and is a 15 minute very scenic walk from the Maastricht - Noord train and bus station.

The hotel is run by hotel management students putting theory into practise.
Check in as well as check out was a smooth process. 

Staff is on a 24 hour service. They also offer a variety of housekeeping options protection you and the environment

The room was very spacious, and especially designed for the hotelschool. Each room has unique features and is completely unique. Our room was known as hospitality and simplicity. We had a massive kingsize bed,  lounge, rainforest shower,

Feeling like king and queens  and High expectations exceeded at  wonderful fanily trip down memory lane

You can't deny the hotel looks great from the outside and from the inside. The rooms might not be to everyone's taste, but they were sure special. It was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was very limited. Fast Wi-Fi so ideal for working and streaming. Overall prices are a bit too high in our opinion, but the experience is great and the students/staff are very helpful.

Special place

We have stayed at this hotel twice now, and each time was just an absolute, pure joy. The students are all so incredibly dedicated and hard working, the layout and contemporary decor of the hotel and the rooms are incredible, and the chateau setting is breathtaking. Not to mention the breakfast we had, which, I might say, was the nicest I’ve ever had in a hotel. It’s been a while since we last stayed here, but I’m feeling very nostalgic and can’t wait to come back someday soon!

Absolutely amazing experience every time

The room itself looks nice, pretty conceptual.But the ceilings with the daytime lights from the socialist Netherlands surprised us.But it's small.We lived in room two.We were warmed up, and when the washing machine was working, these ceilings were woodworking.The windows of the room were coming out into the yard.Every morning in this yard they were lit with empty gas lamps.Then the builders came to us.All I got was an apology.The staff didn't have any complaints and they were studying for us.The restaurant wasn't bad, but nobody was working.The day before that the washing machine was working, these ceilings were doing the work.The windows of the room were going out into the yard.Every morning in this yard they were lit with empty gas lamps.Then the builders came to us.
