Great spot to explore city with the excellent service - the kind of genuine hospitality and care that is more and more rare to find these days.  Previously having lived in Maastricht - I can confirm that it is indeed located central in the actual old city center where you would like to be to eat out and explore the city. 

A true gem in city center with excellent service

It's all said and done. Charming hotel and extremely well located. Lovely staff. Extra lunch. But uncomfortable nights on mattresses with too thin or tired spring mats, which I could fold by hand. Apparently we were the first to complain about it... a small change in room 12 shouldn't hurt, it was the only black dot.

Nice hotel, great reception, good bed

We were only in Maastricht for one night and needed a room convenient to the center of the city as we would be going on the river cruise that evening.

When we arrived at the hotel after a long day of driving the manager of the hotel took us under her wing, helped us find parking for our car, and made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a Saturday night and there was some noise of university students partying out on the street that we could hear from our room but it didn't last too long and we were able to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast the next morning was brilliant.

Clean, comfortable room, central location - recommended!

We stayed in Maastricht for only one night the hotel au quartier is an Amazing hotel in the centre of beautiful Maastricht. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Car parking is available which is very secure. Would highly recommend the hotel. 

Great hotel in centre 

I should say that this hotel looks like a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is spectacular and personal is very kind I am from Italy and this breakfast tasted like a real Italian breakfast. Rooms are not too big but not too small they are just the right size. I will come back as soon as possibile.

Personal is very kind

We came for Andre Rieu’s concert which is literally just down the road, so an ideal location. All staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are of an excellent standard. We would definitely stay here again

Superb location and high quality

We stayed here for our A. Rieu concert, I am sure we pay double than normally cost. However the location is just perfect, 5 minutes walking to the concert. Right in the centre, probability no the most quite street in Maastricht, but very quite to be in the center and very convenient for the concert. 

Such a friendly lady at reception, she even offers to open the breakfast a hour earlier because we had to catch a early train( we didn’t accept it) 
The room was clean and the bathroom just perfect. 
Definitely I would stay again.  

Friendly hotel 

Been a while since last post but this is definitely worth a review. Went to achieve a bucket list of Andre Rieu at the vritoff square. I’m almost too greedy to share this little gem but share it I  will. Nestled between the vritoff and the river is a beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms and wonderful service. On arriving we were escorted to our room which was absolutely immaculate. The mattress so soft I didn’t want to get out of bed. Having read other reports I was going to take a portable fan but nope the hotel forefill this requirement with a large upright fan that matches the decor. The lift is so weird the likes of which I haven’t seen before , basically because of the buildings protected status, a conventional lift is not possible so this is almost like a pneumatic lift but does a great job, trust me this is the only small detail of fault and it not even a fault just an observation. The restaurant is nestled in the back of the hotel almost al fresco. The roof opens up for dining under the stars and was busy every night with guests and locals. It looked amazing but we only had 2 nights and that reserved for Mr Rieu! 
The breakfast is continental style but again amazing service and fresh food and steaming coffee. I wish we had more time to stay and sample the delights of the restaurant, the smells were Devine. The hosts were absolutely superb and set the bench mark incredibly high for customer service, when I say nothing is too much I mean nothing. Parking is a small issue but again local knowledge easily resolved it. Seeing Andre rieu is a once in a lifetime event , finding this gem of a hotel so close to the vritoff and exceptional service ...... jackpot. Thank you for making us so welcome you are a credit to tourism.

5 star with a wow factor

Positive: nice service, good breakfast, somewhat snugly in the middle of the old town and on top. Rather negative: very noisy at night and evening - not only from the street parties, but also very loudly inward. On the bathroom closet were already earplugs ready (that's no joke!). So only three points...

Nice, but bright and loud...

For a cancellation of a flight, we boarded a flight to Maastricht to fly the next day, and we had to stay overnight in this hotel that really pleased us, as it is not a modern hotel and without great luxuries... But it has a special charm, the film staff have made us feel at home. The location is very good as you are walking to the central square in less than 3 minutes. The breakfast in our opinion was a bit, as we got out of 14.50€/person. If I return to Maastricht, I have a very expensive hotel!!😉
