We spent 2 nights with my family here. The location is perfect, right in the city center. There are a few steps when you enter the hotel, but inside the hotel there's an elevator, which was good for us because our toddler. Our room was really big, and clean. It was also the right temprature (not cold and not warm) in the room, altough the windows are old ones and cannot be closed properly. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast was standard, once the the most popular bread was out, and I think is it a shame, they could not fill up. (There was other type, but it was a bit dry.) 
On the first night there was loud music from an other place, which was disturbing for us. 
In the end I still recommend the place, as a really good value for money.

Perfect location, nice rooms

The hotel is in an extremely good location in the very heart of the city. Driving in with car can be a bit tricky, you'll need the receptionist to open the gates first into the pedestrian then into the parking area itself. Therefore it'd be a good idea to explore the city on foot. The staff was very friendly, always smiling. Our room was on the second floor with a very nice view into one of the main squares of the city. Downside was the "double bed" which was two - not really comfortable - single beds pushed together. The room was otherwise clean and comfortable. Breakfast is reasonable for this price quality. Altogether the quality for value in this is case is quite high, I'd recommend it for a short sightseeing trip to anyone.

Quiet little hotel in the center

Points + Location in the heart of the historic centre (you have to go to the automatic terminals and tell them you have a reservation at the hotel they will open it to you)

Excellent price/quality ratio in the historic city centre

I went there for work and it happened because all the hotels in Gyor were packed for an important women's volleyball game. And a nice boarding house right in the middle of the village, which makes it easy to walk around. Being in the pedestrian zone, the quiet and the highest levels. The rooms are a little old, but still livable and spacious. Recommended for those who without too much pretence want to be quiet and forget about the car. Little shame, the reception is closed from 20:00 and if you have the car in their parking lot, since you are pedestrian you can't do without it, you can't see it again until the next day.

Comfortable retirement

Lady who ran the place was very nice. I had a bike which she parked in her office so I wouldn't worry about it.
The location is perfect and the room had a postcard view. The room was clean, and good size. Same for the bathroom. 
Just a real good place to spend a night. 

Nice place

Pleasant hotel, quiet area of town, airy and spacious room, charming staff and adequate breakfast.  They went to some trouble to store our bikes.  Only downside is they forgot to give us the door code so we had trouble getting in after dinner.

Delightful little hotel

This belly is located in the centre of Gyor, just a few minutes' walk from the main square. The staff proved themselves ready to meet our every request, including to welcome our bikes inside and to have breakfast in advance due to our early departure. The rooms are rather spacious, have no air conditioning but are provided with a fan. Free Wi-Fi with good speed.

Winning quality/price ratio

Can't really add a lot that other recent reviewers haven't already said. It has an old-worlde sort of charm in a very quiet, central location. Staff are very friendly and helpful and wifi access is fast. No restaurant in the Panzio itself but plenty of other options very nearby

Full of charachter and highly recommended

Penzion located in an old-fashioned building in the pedestrian zone, quiet and spacious room. Good Wi-Fi, refrigerator, air conditioning for a fee (4€ a day).

Good value for money

The hotel is in the very center of Djer. It's 10 minutes to the bathroom. We lived on the balcony floor and it was hot in the summer (at +38 degrees Celsius outside the window), but the fan was fine. The hotel is in a historic building and only three floors, but there is an elevator, so there are no problems with suitcases. There is a refrigerator in the room, daily cleaning. Good breakfast, in the bar room on the ground floor. Very friendly staff, I think if we had any problems with heat/cold, everything would be solved very quickly. The price-quality ratio is excellent.
