We stayed in this hotel couple of times. Good location, a walking distance to Laimer Platz with a lot of restaurants and shops and a subway station. Rooms are quite small but very clean and have  everything that is required for a good sleep. Looks like they made some renovation recently, everything looks new. Breakfast is very good, a plenty of different food. Service is attentive. Bottom line: a perfect place to stay for sleeping in a quiet district within a subway distance from the Munich downtown center. 

A nice place to stay

We stayed here during Oktoberfest when it's hard to find anywhere decent and good value. We were really happy with this small hotel and the train station was only an 8 min walk away. Parking was on the street but not a problem and was free.Breakfast was really good with lots of variety and good, friendly service. Our room was comfortable and quiet , recently renovated and with a nice view over the back garden.

Owner-managed hotel in a central location with very good transport links. Very friendly hotel owners! Modern, contemporary and above all well-maintained room facilities. Various and tasty breakfast buffet. Good price/performance ratio!

Short interim stop

We had booked a night at this hotel because of the modest price for Munich and its ideal location, on the edge of downtown but close to public transport. We were going to a concert and we were looking for nothing more than a few hours of warm sleep before we left. We were filled beyond all expectations. First of all, the tenant is the kindness itself. After searching for us on the Internet how best to get to the concert, he finally spontaneously decided to drop us off in a car that he would like to race in anyway. Adorable. Then we were more lucky: we got a room of a higher class than we had paid for because the smoke came for the room.

A dream for vintage lovers

It's a nice place, next to the subway, buses and trams. Quiet, quiet area. No refugees and homeless people. Sounding staff. The room is Bavarian and they're happy. Clean and tidy, cleaning every day.

A cozy home hotel

I stay here regularly so thought it worth a review. If you are looking for reasonably priced, good quality short stay accomodation I recommend this hotel. Very friendly and a great breakfast. I will continue to use the hotel

Good solid hotel in Laim

The Hotel Petri is a nice simple place in the outskirts of Munich. It is not really walking distance to old town. There is a nice garden sitting area in the back. We took advantage of this one evening by having dinner there. We came across a really good and inexpensive Turkish carry out restaurant around the corner. The rooms were typical size for European hotel. They served a semi warm breakfast. The only negative for two days we we here they were unable to get the wifi to work. Only in the lobby did we get a signal.

Loved the backyard sitting area

We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Petri. Quiet location, beautiful garden with terrace, where you can still get a beer in the evening, good extensive breakfast.

Nice little hotel.

I spent 3 days in Munich, 2 nights in the Petri - very friendly staff, rooms small but picobello clean, even with balcony, little storage space, leaving clothes best in the suitcase. Bed comfortable, I slept very well. Absolutely great breakfast buffet, which you have to pay extra, but the choice can match with any major holiday hotel in Austria or Germany, rarely breakfast so well, here full score. For this, the breakfast room is very pristine, furnished with massive wood, thick balconies, I liked it very well. Hotel is very charming and charming. In the vicinity of several old, 10 minutes walk to the railway and for the grocery grocery store there is a large place that I could come back to and enjoy, thanks to the local grocery store, so much that you could come back to the place with a big bowl and a lot of charm!

Small clean hotel centrally located near Laimer Square

It's a friendly, simple hotel. The price is very good. The breakfast is good, you should only add a cappuccino to your coffee here, for example. It's close to the metro station. You're in the middle of the city in a short time. The rooms are very different. Some are partly renovated but not all clean. The breakfast room is cozy.
