As a family we stayed at the Princess Hotel well located in a quiet parking area easy especially with a van two comfortable rooms and well equipped staff is nice the price is very correct good rest step on our journey

Correct

I accompanied my sister, who was in business there. I didn't have any problem until I got there. The boss was very nice and also gave us some travel tips. Breakfast was okay. The room was clean, but not crowded. You heard everything from outside or from the neighborhood. We were otherwise very satisfied and can recommend it further. The price is right too.

Good and cheap

I booked a one-night stay here and got a newly renovated single room. The hotel has both an elevator and a staircase. My room was a non-smoking one, but for those who smoke there is a small terrace on the first and second floors with seating and ashtrays. The room has a small refrigerator, but unfortunately no air conditioning. Free WiFi is available all around the house and reception is very good. The breakfast buffet is open and leaves no wishes. Park right in front of the hotel.

Will you still...

Very bad insulation, all the noise from room to room and also from streets annoying. Bathroom from golden 80's I think. The whole room experience like a trip to past. 
Breakfast was good, though.

During the Frankfurt fair not many options, but still the price I had to pay had worst value I have ever had.

Retro and noisy

It presents itself as a hotel... at the door is then a motel??? Well, we only needed it for a night's sleep, but it was ok for 50€ inclusive. Breakfast would be the right price for a double room. Total soft cross-section mattress with nice wood spaces between the beds... The reception was anything but cordial. The lady was sure that she hadn't submitted a booking from me, only after I submitted the booking confirmation had clarified the situation. Alas, you booked via Booking.com! I think we were just lucky that it wasn't booked. I can't recommend it at this price.

Okay, we came to sleep here.

Free parking right at the hotel. Very friendly reception. You had to pay when you checked in. Free bottle of water in the room. Old furniture in dark wood. 80s bathroom, not very clean and dark. Are probably renovating rooms. There was a construction site in the hallway. The hotel has a Greek restaurant with a day off on Monday. But there are plenty of open restaurants nearby. One star maximum. I can't get here anymore.

Hardly recommended

I was just there recently and I had to notice that this house is old. From the style of the furniture and the whole interior, I would say it was built in the 80s. So my room was also quite dark (weak light bulb) with dark furniture. The mattress was also correspondingly well-laid. The carpets are corresponding and therefore seem a little clumsy. The staff is very nice. I would call the breakfast buffet a simple standard. According to hot ratings, the house has three stars, so I think it's one too many. For one night, it's good.

Coming into the years

The Princess hotel is a family owned & managed clean middle-class hotel located close to the centre of Rodenbach. The Chinese owners are friendly and very welcoming.

Build in 1984 the hotel offers 25 rooms over 2 floors. Our modest non-smoking room had an OK double-bed. The adequately furnished room had a desk &  chairs, a flat screen TV, wardrobe, fridge, fixed luggage rack, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet & shower cubicle. All was very clean. However we didn’t like the harsh bed linen. Complimentary mineral water in the room and a coffee & tea machine in the breakfast room.  

Windows can be opened. Rodenbach is directly in the lane of FRA bound landing aircraft. Starting at 05:30 till late evening you enjoy aircraft directly flying over. The A380 is impressive at 800m overhead. Note that during the night FRA flight restrictions keep the area quiet.

Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet in the room. You find a Greek restaurant at the first floor. At every floor you find a shared terrace with table & chairs overlooking the fire-station. The breakfast is OK with ample variety.

Overall we had a nice time. We would recommend this small-town hotel to anyone who seeks an OK sleep at an acceptable price.

A clean middle-class hotel

Stayed here for a week.  Clean room, always plenty of hot water in the shower.  The bed wasn't the greatest but it's typical for the area.  The proprietor spoke English and was always helpful.  Restaurants, 2 larger markets, 1 small market, a bank and even a bit of local history were all within easy walking distance.  The hotel didn't have its own Wifi but it did have a T-Mobile hotspot that gave unlimited internet for a week at 19.95 Euros and supposedly let you connect to any one of their hotspots in Germany.  I tried it my first night and the signal was so poor that I didn't bother to purchase it.  I had a companion staying in another room and her signal was good enough to pay for but still not very good.  Breakfast was served every morning, included in your room rate.  It served its purpose and I would not hesitate to either recommend it to people who needed to stay in the area or stay there again myself.

Quaint little hotel in a quaint little town

Two of our sons and their families came to visit Germany in my husband's hometown of Rodenbach.  The Princess Hotel proved to be so convenient for all of them.  Close to our home and easy to walk around the town.  Rooms were spacious and clean.  The staff was friendly and helpful.
