If you book a place and inform them upfront you will arrive between 23.00 and 1.00 you may expect they are able to communicate at the evening of arrival. After several unanswered calls and e-mails we showed up and nobody was there to let us in. Afterwards very rude communication via e-mail and phone, acting not to understand me, hanging up the phone and not picking up anymore. Upon my suggestion to donate the money to a charity so we both would not profit, no reaction as well. Really strange guy with weird manners this Peter Hart.

Rudest host ever. No reaction on calls and e-mails.

Nobody was there to give us the key, we slept outside and no money back. This hostel looks very bad and unclean...if you arrive a bit late he'll ask you more money by cash,  he's a thief...good luck If you want to stay in this flat...

Run away

After 6 hour drive this men was not here and we slept on the car. We ask for money back he don't twant be careful!!!! He is a lier and he is not a real professional. He just want to take your money the worst experience

Run fast He is a thief

If you are 100% sure about your arrival time, have no children and are  prepared for potential trouble you may go ahead and book this apartment.

We booked two apartments for families with three small children two months in advance. Mr Hart wanted 100% payment of 276 EUR upfront. We chose the location because of the close proximity to the Stuttgart airport since we had an early flight.

The day before the arrival Mr Hart called and asked about arrival time. We told him that it will be around 20.00. He responded that one of the apartments was trashed and he couldn’t give the offer anymore. Instead he offered apartments in Pforzheim 60 kilometers away. Since this would ruin our schedule with rental car return and flights, we turned it down and asked Booking.com to cancel the reservation and return our money. 

Booking.com called Mr Hart, who then changed the story. He didn’t mention the trashed apartments anymore, but due to one hour late arrival the apartments were not available. As we understand it his first story must have been a clear lie. We still don’t understand why he lied. 

Further is that when we talked to Mr Hart and mentioned the arrival at 20.00 he didn’t give any feedback, so we could adjust our arrival time accordingly. Instead he chose to simply cancel the stay and stick with our 276 EUR, leaving his guests sitting in the street. We don’t understand this unfriendly behavior. We tried to call him several times on the day of arrival but he never responded to any of our calls.

When Booking.com called Mr Hart to try to intermediate he suddenly responded to the call but showed to be very inflexible, and not interested in solving the situation for his guests. Instead he told us separately, that since we contacted Booking.com directly he would penalize us and not offer the alternative in Pforzheim anymore. It sounded like he wanted revenge.

We then had to look for a new stay in the neighborhood. All the visited guesthouses & hotels had had guests with similar bad experiences of Mr Hart. Please review also the other critical comments here on the site, and you’ll understand. I have used Booking.com all over the world during a long time and I have never had a similar terrible experience as Mr Hart. I don’t think he should work with hospitality services. If I could give him a zero in the review I would. Don’t waste your valuable time and money on this offer. There are clearly better options.

We have given Mr Hart the opportunity to comment this review before publishing, but to our regret again he didn’t respond.

Terrible experience

I didn't stay at this " hotel" and i will explain my experience 
First of all while I tried to search a hotel on the application of Booking I was obliged to book while I was thinking that I will check the rooms and the conditions !
After that I rapidly send a mail to Booking and to the owner to explain - no way to cancel and I have to pay 50%  of the amount as fee cancellation .
I think It's very strange to ask to a customer to check in only from 17h00 to 19h00, to have the breakfast at 150 m and to pay only via wire money transfer !


Rude experience 

The way how to check-in. It was terrible. First we should drive to some strange Greek restaurant in the middle of nowhere for payment then back to the apartment. Host guided us by phone.
In the morning next to our apartment door in the hall we've found a group of Indian "tourists" (10-12 persons) with the lot of the luggage all over the place.
