The hotel is not far from the main street but it is relatively quiet. It is laid out with great attention to detail inside and outside. The kitchen offers a wide selection of food. Our room was quite narrow and did not offer much space for the contents of the two-person bag.

Station of a journey

First the good, our flights were delayed and we didn't arrive until after 14:00 and someone was there to open the gate and check us in.  It went down hill after that.  We were given keys to two rooms that were already occupied!  Imagine the awkwardness of entering a small room in the middle of the night and find someone sleeping (or at least they were).  We were given two different rooms but the rooms are very basic.  My associate in the other room had the toilet seat fall off and the shower door fall off.  Breakfast the next morning was a disappointment.  But hey, it was only $40USD.  In the daylight it did look a little more charming and rustic.  If you are into the very minimalistic lodge accomodations then maybe this is for you.

Not a good experience

Fantastic place, i would highly recommend, i got married here and it couldn't have been any better. Michelle and her wonderful staff looked after me and my guests to no end not to mention the chief... the food was out of this world. Thank you so much guys for a fantastic week end... keep up the good work.

Getting Married

Poor quality rooms
Waitress insisted I paid my bill, before I had finished my evening meal on my last night, so no Coffee or desert on the last night
my room was Number 6, basically next to the dining/breakfast room, which also doubled up as the function room
Tonight's party I've been told will go on until 3-4am, No chance of getting any sleep tonight with all the noise and the LOUD disco/DJ about 1 meter from my bed, I'm off to the airport at 03:30, guess i'm going to be shattered, hope i dont fall asleep while driving
I'm coming back next week, going to stay else where!

poor rooms, very noisy

I stopped over for a night on my way to Wroclaw. It was a quiet mid-week night. I eat a great, juicy steak with all the trimmings, and sat around chatting with the owners and some other guests. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful people. I had a wonderful evening. The room was spacious (I think I stayed in one of the honeymoon rooms), simply furnished but comfortable. The outside is quite charming, with a faux windmill and large fishpond, all nicely lit up at night.

I recommend this place as a good restaurant and small hotel near Wroclaw. There are also some fun things to do nearby e.g. horse riding. The owners/staff will happily share all info. Enjoy!

Great evening near Wroclaw

I always stay here on my business trips to Poland (Wroclaw). The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is great. I have all the amenities of the city without the traffic and headache. There is a conference center with WIFI and all the employs speak English(very helpful) The food is great and breakfast is free when you stay. I highly recommend you stay at Karczma Michelle when visiting Wroclaw, Poland.

Great place to stay and Great food!!!!!

It's a beautiful place in a Canadian-style restaurant, all made of wood and with a mill outside. The waiter immediately worked hard to get us to stay. We got soups, seconds - grilled chicken and sausage crabs, and two desserts - ice cream with fruit and pear with vanilla and chocolate.

An inn down the street

A good transit hotel by the road. Suitable for tourists travelling from Russia to Germany. The hotel is built in a classic style for Poland in the form of a wooden-stone board. At the hotel there is a restaurant with good Polish cuisine.
